Custom Bible Cover for a Thinline Bible

Here is some recent custom work I did. This cover's original design looked like this:

Just a few changes and I was able to create a custom cover to fit a Thinline Bible that measures:
5 3/4 x 8 3/4 x 1"!

How cute is this?! I recently created this one as a request, I have yet to add a cross and the bow trim together on a handle-design, on this one it works!!!! These are created from a really gorgeous pre-quilted black fabric. When assembled the finished look is really unique. The unique fabric choice is also great to showcase personalization. My go to fabric for customers that want to keep it simple and classic!

Custom Made Bible Covers

I had the great pleasure of creating these unique customer-inspired-designs! One for the pink polka dot (medium dot) gathered bow version, PERSONALIZED which is a first. And also the Retro Red Floral with initials applied in Red!  Both of these haven't been offered with personalization in the past because the patterns are so busy personalization doesn't stand out as much as other patterns paired with personalization. I am always happy to work with any ideas in making their bible cover as special and personal for them as possible. I think these customers inspired some very cute covers!

Custom Sizing Bible Covers

I've been sharing these styles alot this week and I just wanted to include that this design is great for smaller/standard sized bibles. This is the bible cover size I specialize in . Often I am asked if I can make them in a 6 1/2x 9 1/2" size, I prefer to make these smaller only like above however I did create a basic one sans bow recently:

I prefer to include a thick lining and handle reinforcement for the study bibles and include a closure as well. The larger the bible the heavier it typically is, while these same bibles are the very ones that are hard to shop a cute bible cover for, a handmade option requires special attention to details, so that is as functional as possible.
